Hi bob I have a blown small block Chevy in my racecar, and this is my first experience with mechanical fuel injection. I do not know anyone who could help me with diagnose problems. A really nifty book, dedicated to constant flow mechanical injection. No fluff, just solid and usable information. Well balanced, going from the absolute basics to the exotic. Perfect for the first time fuel injection user, as it covers literally everything, including the many subtle things that can cause big trouble. Also valuable for a person well versed in fuel injection. Some very technical explanations and charts well beyond the need and/or understanding of a first time user. Lots of detailed pictures and diagrams, all of the highest caliber.
I am bolting together my first fuel injected engine, a 417 Donovan with a Waterman pump, Hot Heads tunnel ram manifold and an Enderle Birdcatcher. I had read most of other books on fuel injection and thought I had a reasonable grasp. The information in this book is clearly and logically presented, and filled in many of the areas that I thought I understood, but didn't. It treats the injection as a system, rather than a bunch of individual parts. It gave me a good understanding of my system and positively saved me from some major grief.
A must have book for anyone wanting or using constant flow injection.
