Orders are processed through PayPal. However, you do not need a PayPal account to order through PayPal. Their system will process single new transactions.

If I order both books, is shipping cheaper?
If you order one or both, the shipping per book is the same. We held the discount on the fuel injection book, and provide a discount on the methanol racing book regardless of whether you buy one or both. Shipment of both books may be in one box or separate containers, depending on inventory at the time. This was the lowest cost method and provides previous Fuel Injection Book customers with the same price as new customers who may buy both books at the same time.

If I order more than one of the same books, is shipping cheaper?
Yes, currently only one shipping charge applies to the same book order, regardless of the number of (same) books. For interest in larger quantities of books, E-mail or call for discount pricing.

Questions about the books

Who can benefit from your methanol book?
Although this book was written from the standpoint of a drag racer, it is applicable to anyone who uses methanol as a racing fuel. For example, boat racing, tractor pulling, and jr dragsters could benefit from this book as well.

What is your methanol book about?
The science of methanol combustion for racing. This book is both simple and highly detailed. Two chapters are about the chemistry of racing methanol combustion to illustrate tuning practices. Numerous racing examples for carbureted and fuel injected applications are provided. Both normally aspirated and forced induction applications are covered. Low, medium, high, and ultra high-powered applications are described.

Can your fuel injection book help me tune my fuel injection system?
Yes. Mechanical fuel injection tune-up information is written in a simplified manner applicable to most installations: auto, motor cycle, boat, drag, circle, road race, high speed. Basic fuel injection component descriptions are provided for new tuners. Advanced bypass fuel routings, elimination of aeration, and jetting calculations are provided for the Pro's.

Actual examples are provided for drag race setups and applicable to most other setups since most all racing involves a drag race out of the turn or from the start. Examples include actual jetting from various flow bench tests, 900 horsepower injected gas dragster, 2,700 horsepower Top Alcohol Funnycar, 3,000 horsepower Nostalgia Top Fuel Dragster. Unique info is provided about part throttle operation. Complete tune-up specs. are provided for a 6 second Bracket Drag Race vehicle -- including drive line, clutch, and engine specs.

Other examples: Hilborn Nozzle flow calculations, Ron's Fuel Injection CFM's, Enderle component details, Roots blower details, and various throttle assemblies for injected and supercharged setups. This reference provides new and all original tune-up information that is helpful for doing your own setup and tuning.

General questions

What else are you working on?
Currently (as of December 06) we are finished with our book about methanol as a racing fuel. We are currently promoting this book and deciding on a new project to begin.

What will you do in the future?
Those depend on what the racers want next. Bob visits many tracks and talks to lots of racers and suppliers. For example, we already have several requests for a supercharger technical book. If you have any ideas, let him know what you think.

I have a technical racing question. Can I get an answer?
We are happy to answer your technical question calls if we are not impacted. Please keep your calls between 8 to 5 Pacific time. Please keep them brief. If you call with a technical question and we are not in, please call back later. We cannot return calls to answer your technical racing questions. Tech line service is free.

Or fill out our contact form. We try hard to answer all inqueries. If you are pleased with the answer, please let us know.

If you do contact us about a technical question, we would appreciate any technical information that you have in exchange that we could share with others. We especially appreciate fuel injection or carburetor jetting setups that were successful as well as unique tests results or any important insider industry / racer news.

I have another question. How can I get it answered?
We love feedback. Please contact us with your questions or comments.
